Norman Kember in Oxford Lecture
Norman Kember gave an account of life as a hostage in Iraq. He brought along some pictures he had drawn from their room and shared these with the audience.
He also shared his story, which has been a life long commitment to the Baptist Church and to the Peace movement.
He answered a range of questions on why he had gone to Iraq, how he had coped with media attention on his return.
His talk was appreciated by all and we await the publication of his book early next year for a more indepth look into his experiences.
