FoR along with Pax Christi are supporting the 29th National Justice and Peace Conference which this year is exploring the Christian vocation to peacemaking. Around 350 adults and some 50 children attend the conference each year which is held at the Hayes Conferene Centre in Derbyshire.

Main Speakers

The two main speakers will be Zoughbi Zoughbi, founder and Director of Wi'am, the Palestinian Center for Conflict Resolution and Fr John Dear, a Jesuit priest, author and activist.

Chris Cole, director of FoR and Pat Gaffney from Pax Christi will facilitate the weekend. There will be workshops, a peace fair, testimonies from those affected by the War on Terror, worship, a creche for younger children and a separate programme for young people as well as a chance to meet and socialise with people from around the country working on peace and justice issues.
