The Library
A great space for small groups
Fire capacity: up to 10 people
Facilities: Approx. seating for 7. Access to kitchen and toilets.
This venue is ideal for small group work, meetings or interviews. The furniture is not of flexible layout (like the Henry Hodgkin Room), so is best used as a meeting room rather than all types of small group or social activity. (This room is not wheelchair accessible)
The FoR Library itself is an excellent resource to anyone researching peace work, and you can read more details about the resources available at the library on this site.
| Hourly rate first year* | Day rate** | |
|---|---|---|
| Reg. Charity and Non-Profit | £8 | £30 |
| Profit-making Ventures & Businesses | £15 | £65 |
*Years subsequent to the first year are reduced by 10% for regular and recurrent hirers
**The Day Rate offers a 12% reduction for Charities and Businesses based on a five hour day.
Many groups have made use of both spaces at once. This offers the chance to do things like having break-out group work or somewhere to stop for refreshments. You don't need to book both spaces for the matching amounts of time; you can book one for less than the other and still benefit from the reduced prices of using both spaces on the same day.
| Hourly rate first year* | Day rate | |
|---|---|---|
| Reg. Charity and Non-Profit | £15 | £60 (saving £15) |
| Profit-making Ventures & Businesses | £30 | £120 (saving £30) |
*Years subsequent to the first year are reduced by 10% for regular and recurrent hirers.
